![]() Black against dark grey… not good without my strongest specs thankfully there are only a couple shift functions like browser, grid and sample and I’m getting the hang of which is which! One downside is the alternate text for the buttons below the screen. My eyes are pants so in subdued light the Q link knobs and the encoder being black on a black background aren’t always visible in my peripheral vision if that makes sense? Black against the grey is much easier to see. ![]() Having used the black Live for a few days before I boxed it up I can deffo so I’m glad I got the retro for a couple of practical reasons. In fact I’m finding it quicker than selecting via the q link buttons, especially when the on screen controls are arranged left to right. ![]() Regarding the touch screen… I’m finding I use it in conjunction with the Q link knobs and the encoder. I’m a complete newbie to the MPC thing (I lusted after an MPC 2000 when they came out but lacked funds) so I don’t have any preconceptions. ![]()
